Texas’ AED laws are changing

Texas’ AED laws will change on September 1 as follows:

1. Businesses will no longer have civil liability for any misuse of, or failure to use, their AED

2. Businesses will not have to train everyone in their building as a prerequisite for having an AED, and

3. Businesses will be required to check their AEDs monthly to ensure they are ready for use.

We want to be sure all building owners and managers are aware of these changes.
